medolight employs an innovative form of contact light therapy, requiring exposure to light at a distance of 0 - 5 mm. Light reaches the skin surface without any distortion caused by dampening. Direct contact ensures the most effective therapeutic interaction in areas of exposure to light and in the organism as a whole.

Medolight’s inventors have chosen the most effective range of light from the therapeutic point of view, that is red and near infrared. This ensures the best therapeutic and prophylactic treatment. medolight takes advantage of the most important non-visual corrective mechanisms, that is mechanisms not connected with vision. Photons of light penetrate the exposed tissues, activating a whole series of biochemical processes, which are dependent on light. If electromagnetic receptors (acupressure points) are found in the zone of exposure, they are activated and the therapeutic effects spread to other organs and systems. Pulsating light ensures a more natural and synchronous action on the organism.

The low-frequency light emitted by medolight ensures restoration of the electromagnetic balance, overall strengthening of interaction, reduction of tonic pain. The high frequencies, on the other hand, reduce sharp pain and are anti-inflammatory.
